Gino Severini. (Cortona, 1883 - París, 1966) Pintor italiano. Tras un período en Roma, donde frecuentó el estudio de Giacomo Balla, de quien aprendió la técnica divisionista, en 1905 marchó a París. Profundizó en el divisionismo con el estudio del impresionismo y de la obra de Seurat, y en 1910 se adhirió al futurismo.

Gino Severini (7 April 1883 – 26 February 1966) was an Italian painter and a leading member of the Futurist movement. For much of his life he divided his time between Paris and Rome. He was associated with neo-classicism and the " return to order " in the decade after the First World War.
