Gisela Martine Getty (née Schmidt; born 3 April 1949) is a German photographer, film director, designer, and author. She is known for her involvement in the German '68-movement , along with her late sister, Jutta Winkelmann.

Gisela Getty, of the German twins’ fame, is a photographer, journalist, director, designer, and writer. She grew famous alongside her sister Jutta Schmidt during the 1970s hipster era. The twins were seen lunching, dancing, and hanging out with iconic artists and celebrities of the era.
