Hace 2 días · My guess is it's just aesthetic and mainly for non-skaters. If you look at Charleston's Bridge Spot (which may have been inspiration for this in Jax) it's a great skate spot but not exactly pretty. A lot of non-skaters will grouse that if you build a skatepark, you get all this graffiti and run-down appearance so this may be a way to mitigate that.
