Guarino Veronese o Guarino da Verona o de Verona ( Verona, 1374 – Ferrara, 4 de diciembre de 1460) fue un poeta y humanista italiano . Su verdadero nombre era Varino pero, debido a la corrupción, siempre lo llamaron Guarino, un seudónimo que más tarde, bajo la forma de "Guarini", transmitió a sus descendientes.
Filósofo y pedagogo italiano, nacido en Verona en 1374 y fallecido en Ferrara en 1460. Figura pionera del Humanismo que habría de extenderse por toda Europa Occidental durante los siglos XV y XVI, ha pasado también a la Historia con los apelativos de Guarino Veronés o Guarino Veronese .
