Willem Frederik (William Frederick), Prince of Nassau-Dietz, was the grandson of Johann VI, Count of Nassau-Dillenburg , the brother of William of Orange. When his older brother Hendrik (Henry) Casimir I died childless Willem Frederik became stadtholder of Friesland.
