William IV (German: Wilhelm IV; 13 November 1493 – 7 March 1550) was Duke of Bavaria from 1508 to 1550, until 1545 together with his younger brother Louis X, Duke of Bavaria. He was born in Munich to Albert IV and Kunigunde of Austria, a daughter of Emperor Frederick III.

Alberto IV de Baviera-Múnich (15 de diciembre de 1447, Múnich - 18 de marzo de 1508, Múnich ), fue desde 1467 duque de Baviera-Múnich y, a partir de 1503 duque de toda Baviera. Era hijo de Alberto III y de Ana de Brunswick-Grubenhagen-Einbeck. Tras la muerte de su hermano mayor Juan IV, dejó su carrera espiritual y volvió de Pavía a Múnich.
