Hot Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bath County, Virginia, United States. The population as of the 2010 Census was 738. It is located about 5 miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Warm Springs on U.S. Route 220. Hot Springs has several historic resorts, for the springs helped develop Bath County.

The Cowpasture River to the east across Warm Springs Mountain draws visitors for fishing and kayaking. Bath County is fairly unusual in Virginia in that it contains no incorporated towns. Nearby Hot Springs is perhaps more well-known than Warm Springs, though the two are separated by only a few miles.
Hot Springs National Park has a long and colorful history, beginning long before its designation as Hot Springs Reservation in 1832. American Indians came here for thousands of years to quarry novaculite for their tools and weapons.
