Sonia Rosemary Cubitt, OBE (née Keppel, previously The Hon. Mrs. Cubitt; 24 May 1900 – 16 August 1986) was a British socialite, author and aristocrat. She was the first wife of Roland Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe and, through her only daughter Rosalind, was the maternal grandmother of Queen Camilla.

Elliot is the daughter of Major Bruce Shand (1917–2006) and his wife, Rosalind Cubitt (1921–1994), daughter of the 3rd Baron Ashcombe and Sonia Rosemary Keppel. Her elder sister is Queen Camilla (born 1947), and her brother was travel writer Mark Shand (1951–2014). [4] Elliot went to Florence, Italy, to study fine art.
On 2 January 1946, he married the Hon. Rosalind Maud Cubitt, daughter of Roland Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe, and Sonia Rosemary Keppel, at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge. They had two daughters, Camilla (born 1947) and Annabel (born 1949), and a son, Mark (1951–2014).
