El cementerio de los Inválidos (en alemán: Invalidenfriedhof) es uno de los cementerios más antiguos de Berlín. Fue el lugar de descanso tradicional del ejército de Prusia y se considera particularmente importante como un monumento a las guerras de liberación alemanas de 1813-1815.
Der Invalidenfriedhof ist ein historischer Friedhof und eine Gedenkstätte im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte des gleichnamigen Bezirks. Er liegt auf dem Gebiet der früheren Oranienburger Vorstadt zwischen Scharnhorststraße und Berlin-Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal , nördlich des Bundeswirtschaftsministeriums .

The cemetery Invalidenfriedhof. The cemetery Invalidenfriedhof established in 1748 on the orders of Friedrich II for the Invalidenhaus hospital is bordered by the embankment wall of Berlin’s Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal. The sector boundary drawn by the Allied powers after the Second World War ran right down the middle of the canal.
History of the Cemetery – Förderverein Invalidenfriedhof e.V. The Invalids’ Cemetery dates back to 1748 when it was laid out as part of the adjacent Invalids’ House – built upon the orders of Frederick II of Prussia for Army officers disabled in military service.
