Frances Abele is Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration, Supervisor of the Indigenous Policy and Administration graduate program, and Academic Director of the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation. Her research focuses on democratic community development and Canadian public policy, with a special emphasis on northern policy.
