4 de ago. de 2023 · HB Studio has been a home for actors, playwrights and directors since it was founded in 1945 by Herbert Berghof. Herbert was a protégé of German director Max Reinhardt. When things got dangerous in Austria during Hitler’s regime, he came to New York City as a refugee.
HB Studio is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports vigorous, lifelong practice in the theater arts based on a solid foundation of practical training.
HB Studio offers a series of in-person classes and special-focus workshops. Build your own schedule of studio classes and workshops. Classes are offered at Levels 1, 2, 3, and Studio Practice. Learn more about level placement. In-person classes run for 10-weeks (1 session per week). (Some exceptions apply). Our current in-person offerings include:

A $15 discount will apply when registering for both parts. Sign up for either Part independently (5 weeks each), or join both for the full 10-week term. You may join Part B without taking Part A.
