Hal was a true nexus, people and paths and music and time all met wherever he was and those relationships continued and branched out. Hal was kind, thoughtful, aggravating, and almost always right.

The show played at the Sydney Festival in January 2007 and in Europe during June and July 2007. The album version of the concert, entitled Berlin: Live at St. Ann's Warehouse, and a live film recording of these concerts were both released in 2008.
