Con una trama arquetípica, que se sigue reutilizando hasta en la última, el conflicto de extraños “normales” allanado la casa de la pobre familia.
En 1977 se estrenó el telefilm “Halloween With The New Addams Family” (1977). Más tarde se llevó al cine por Barry Sonnenfeld como “La Familia Addams” (1991), película con Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christina Ricci y Christopher Lloyd que conoció la secuela “La Familia Addams: La Tradición Continúa” (1993).
