Hannah Grant ( née Simpson; November 23, 1798 – May 11, 1883) was the mother of Ulysses S. Grant, Commanding General of the Union Army during the American Civil War and the 18th president of the United States. She married Jesse Root Grant in Point Pleasant, Ohio, and was the mother of six children.
