Biography. John Williamson Herron was born on 10 May 1827. He married Harriet Anne Collins. He was a lawyer, district attorney and a chairman of the Miami University board of trustees. His daughter Helen "Nellie" married William Howard Taft who became an American President. He died on 6 Aug 1912.
