If you recall, early in the movie Fonda’s character offers the other 11 jurors the option of taking a secret ballot and if they all vote guilty, he agreed to vote guilty as well. The vote came back 10-1 guilty with one not guilty. Not exactly one man gaslighting and railroading as you put it. EDIT: Henry Fonda instead of J Stewart
