Henry Grey, 1st Duke of Kent, KG, PC (1671 – 5 June 1740) was a British politician and courtier. None of his sons outlived him, so his new title became extinct on his death. Though the house he built at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire has gone, parts of his very grand garden have survived relatively untouched.

Henry Grey, 11th Baron Grey de Ruthyn, 8th Earl of Kent (1583–1639) On his death the Earldom of Kent passed to his cousin as heir male of the 1st Earl of Kent while the Barony of Grey of Ruthin passed to his nephew, Charles Longueville, as heir general of the 1st Baron Grey of Ruthin. See below.

19 de feb. de 2024 · Henry Grey, duke of Suffolk father of Lady Jane Grey; his opposition to Queen Mary I of England and his role in Sir Thomas Wyatt’s rebellion led to his execution. The son of Thomas Grey, 2nd marquess of Dorset, he succeeded to the marquessate in 1530 and, in 1534, with the approval of King Henry.
