IanBairnson.com. John " Ian " Bairnson (3 August 1953 – 7 April 2023) was a Scottish musician, best known for being one of the core members of the Alan Parsons Project. [1] He was a multi-instrumentalist, who played saxophone and keyboards, although he was best known as a guitarist.
