Ian Hedworth John Little Gilmour, Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar, PC (8 July 1926 – 21 September 2007) was a Conservative Party politician in the United Kingdom. He was styled Sir Ian Gilmour, 3rd Baronet from 1977, having succeeded to his father's baronetcy, until he became a life peer in 1992.
In 1992 he became a life peer, and was elevated the House of Lords as Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar. On 10 July 1951, Gilmour married Lady Caroline Margaret Montagu-Douglas-Scott, the youngest daughter of the 8th Duke of Buccleuch. Their wedding was attended by Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother), and the future Elizabeth II.

Sir Charles Gilmour, 2nd Baronet (died 1750), of Craigmillar, Edinburgh, was a Scottish Whig politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1737 to 1750. Gilmour was the son of Sir Alexander Gilmour, 1st Baronet , of Craigmillar Castle and his wife Grisel Ross, daughter of George Ross, 11th Lord Ross .

Ms Christine Lofthouse, with whom Gilmour was living at the time of the arson attack, had met him a few months earlier and told him that their former relationship had resulted in him being the father of her three- year-old daughter Joanne.
