Ilie Theodoriu Năstase (Romanian pronunciation: [iˈli.e nəsˈtase] ⓘ; born 19 July 1946) is a Romanian former world No. 1 tennis player. He held the top singles spot from 23 August 1973 to 2 June 1974, and was the first man to hold the position on the computerized ATP rankings.

Năstase played World Team Tennis for Hawaii in 1976 and Los Angeles in 1977 and 1978. He led Los Angeles to the WTT title as player-coach in 1978. When TENNIS Magazine released its list of the 40 Greatest Players of the Open era in 2005, Năstase was ranked 28 th all-time.
