Secondo "Conte" Candoli (July 12, 1927 – December 14, 2001) was an American jazz trumpeter based on the West Coast. He played in the big bands of Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Benny Goodman, and Dizzy Gillespie, and in Doc Severinsen's NBC Orchestra on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Conte Secondo Candoli (Mishawaka, Indiana, 28 de junio de 1923-14 de diciembre de 2001) fue un trompetista, compositor y arreglista de jazz de origen estadounidense. Tras haber estudiado contrabajo, se pasó a la trompeta, con la que inició su carrera profesional, en 1940, en la banda de Sonny Durham.

Candoli played with Woody Herman 1943, 1945, 1950, Chubby Jackson 1947-1948, Stan Kenton intermittently 1948, 1950-1953, Charlie Ventura 1949, and Charlie Barnet 1951.
Conte Candoli (1927–2001) Secondo (Conte) Candoli was an actor and jazz trumpeter known mainly for playing in big bands and for his work with The Tonight Show on TV. Born in Mishawaka, Indiana, he sat in with Woody Herman’s First Herd as a 16-year-old, joining them full-time when he was 18 alongside his older brother, trumpeter Pete Candoli.
