Michael Blieden Wolff (born July 31, 1952) is an American jazz pianist, composer, and actor. He was the bandleader on The Arsenio Hall Show (1989–94). Wolff was honored as a Steinway Artist and obtained a Broadcast Music, Inc. award. He provided the score for and co-produced The Tic Code (1998).

The darkly alluring vibe running throughout this well-named collection can truly intoxicate the listener, giving the second offering by his band a strong appeal to the "jam band" crowd, world beat enthusiasts, and jazz aficionados alike.

Pianist Michael Wolff, perhaps best known for his stint on the Arsenio Hall show, has created a most interesting hybrid here. It seems like a calculated blend: nothing to challenge or put off, and a deep commitment to groove.
Pianist Michael Wolff’s previous album, the first with his band Impure Thoughts (and which also bore that name) was one of the finest records of 2000.
