Gladstone was interred in Westminster Abbey, London and there is a memorial to him and his wife Catherine in St. Deniol’s Church across the road from the Library. We hope that this post has done justice to the name and achievements of William Ewart Gladstone.
Catherine Jessy Gladstone (1845–1850); died aged 5 on 9 Apr 1850 from meningitis Mary Gladstone (1847–1927); she married Reverend Harry Drew in 1886. They had one daughter, Dorothy.
