Mahalangur Himal (en nepalí: महालङ्गूर हिमाल) es una subcordillera del Himalaya que se extiende la frontera entre el Tíbet ( China) y Nepal. En ella se encuentran cuatro de los catorce ochomiles del mundo: monte Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, y Cho Oyu, así como otros numerosos picos de importancia.
Mahālangūr Himāl ( Nepali: महालङ्गूर हिमाल, Mahālaṅgūra himāla) is a section of the Himalayas in northeast Nepal and south-central Tibet of China extending east from the pass Nangpa La between Rolwaling Himal and Cho Oyu, to the Arun River. [1] . It includes Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu — four of Earth's six highest peaks.

It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the China – Nepal border.
