The Capital Region of Denmark (Danish: Region Hovedstaden, pronounced [ʁekiˈoˀn ˈhoːð̩ˌstæðˀn̩]) is the easternmost administrative region of Denmark, and contains Copenhagen, the national capital. The Capital Region has 29 municipalities and a regional council consisting of 41 elected members.

La Región Capital (en danés: Hovedstaden) es una región administrativa de Dinamarca, establecida el 1 de enero de 2007 por la reforma municipal danesa, que sustituyó la anterior división administrativa en distritos ( amter) por cinco grandes regiones.
Su capital y ciudad más poblada es Copenhague, que se encuentra en la isla de Selandia . Dinamarca forma parte de Escandinavia y tiene dos fronteras terrestres: Una con Alemania y la otra con Canadá, en la isla Hans. Además, desde 1999 está unida con Suecia por carretera y ferrocarril, a través del puente de Øresund.
