17 de mar. de 2023 · J.R.R. Tolkien passed away on September 2nd, 1973 from a bleeding ulcer and a chest infection. He was 81 years old. He was buried alongside Edith at Wolvercote Cemetery in Oxford. Alongside their names, their graves are marked “Lúthien” and “Beren” – a reference to two characters from Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
