The Catholic Diocese of St. Andrews and Edinburgh, as defined in the Apostolic Letter “Ex Supremo Apostolatus Apice” of March 4, 1878, comprises the counties of Edinburgh, Berwick, Fife (southern part), Haddington, Linlithgow, Peebles, Roxburgh, Selkirk, and (practically) Stirlingshire.
