James Francis Edward Keith (in later years Jakob von Keith; 11 June 1696 – 14 October 1758) was a Scottish soldier and Generalfeldmarschall of the Royal Prussian Army. As a Jacobite he took part in a failed attempt to restore the Stuart Monarchy to Britain.

26 de jun. de 2023 · Field Marshal James Francis Edward Keith was born on 4 June 1696. He died on 14 October 1758 at age 62 at Hochkirck, killed in action. He was the son of William Keith, 8th Earl Marischal and Lady Mary Drummond. He fought in the Jacobite Rising in 1715.

James Francis Edward Keith, 1696–1758, Scottish field marshal of Prussia; brother of George Keith, 10th earl marischal [marshal] of Scotland. He participated in the Jacobite uprising of 1715 and in the abortive invasion of 1719 with his brother.
Named after Prince James Francis Edward Stuart, the Old Pretender, Keith was the son of committed Jacobites. He took part in the failed Rising of 1715, after which he was forced into exile on the continent.
