She portrayed Cynthia 'Cyd' Pyke on the BBC One hospital drama Casualty and Jane Boleyn, Viscountess Rochford in the Showtime series The Tudors. King was born in Dublin and attended St. Brigid's Girls School and St. Joseph of Cluny Killiney.
