Leben. Nach ihrem Studium arbeitete Jane Rosenthal neun Jahre als Produzentin für den Fernsehsender CBS und produzierte dort mehr als 70 Fernsehfilme. 1989 gründete sie zusammen mit dem Schauspieler Robert De Niro in New York City die Produktionsfirma Tribeca Productions, mit der sie fortan Filme produzierte. 2002 organisierte sie zusammen mit De Niro erstmals das Tribeca Film Festival.
Jane’s Biography. Former award winning radio journalist, poet and teacher, Jane Rosenthal lived for over a decade on a horse and cattle ranch in the Sierra mountains of California about 3500 feet above the Central Valley where her novel Del Rio is set and where she finally fulfilled her dream of being a western cowgirl.
