Leben. Jay Robinson gab 1953 sein Leinwanddebüt als römischer Kaiser Caligula in dem Monumentalfilm Das Gewand. Auch in der ein Jahr später gedrehten Fortsetzung Die Gladiatoren verkörperte er den Kaiser.
