Jeanine Tesori, known earlier in her career as Jeanine Levenson, [1] (born November 10, 1961) [1] is an American composer and musical arranger best known for her work in the theater. She is the most prolific and honored female theatrical composer in history, with five Broadway musicals and six Tony Award nominations. [2] .
