John is an author and founder of The Grief Recovery Institute. Jess Walton stated about their relationship, “I had always gone for bohemian, rock and roll types. The Grief Recovery Institute was founded by John James, who was also an author. The couple has two children: Cole, a boy, and Allison, a girl. Bruce Davison, an actor, was Walton’s first husband.
