John William "Jo" Callis (born 2 May 1951) is an English musician and songwriter who played guitar with the Edinburgh based punk rock band the Rezillos (under the name Luke Warm) and post-punk band Boots for Dancing, before joining the Human League.

Before Cindy Sherman and Gregory Crewdson, there was Jo Ann Callis, a conceptual photographer who began staging mysterious and erotic photos for her seminal Early Color series while studying with the legendary Robert Heinecken at UCLA in 1973.
Since she emerged in the late 1970s as one of the first important practitioners of the "fabricated photographs" movement, Jo Ann Callis has made adventurous contributions in the areas of color photography, sculpture, painting, and digital imagery.
