Joseph Ward Simmons (born November 14, 1964), better known by the stage name Run, Rev. Run or DJ Run, is an American rapper, producer, DJ and television personality. Simmons is one of the founding members of the influential hip hop group Run-DMC. He is also a practicing minister, known as Reverend Run .

Joseph Simmons was born on 14 November 1964 in Queens, New York, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for Die Hard (1988), The Bounty Hunter (2010) and Friday Night Lights (2004). He has been married to Justine Simmons since 25 June 1994. They have four children. He was previously married to Valerie Vaughn.
