Johann Zoffany - Tribuna of the Uffize (1772-1778) I’ve seen a few other “painting in a painting”s like this before, but I don’t remember if they’re by the same artist. Easy way for the artist to get some practice in. The first time I saw a painting like these (one in Mauritshuis) it was jaw-dropping.
