Married firstly Countess Palatine Christina Magdalena of Kleeburg (1616 – 1662) daughter of John Casimir, Count Palatine of Kleeburg and secondly morganatically Johanna Bayer of Sendau (1636–1699) Their morganatic children took the titl e Barons of Münzesheim.
Juni 1699, 63 Jahre alt, Johanna Bayerin von Sendau aus Welsch-Neuburg. Sie ist offenbar von Remchingen hierher zu ihrem Sohne Bernhard gekommen, nachdem er vom Gute Besitz ergriffen hatte; sie konnte notdürftig in der alten Burg wohnen, während ihr Sohn wol das sog. waldhofische Haus bewohnte.
