John Mallory is an American director and actor, born on January 13, 1971, in Los Angeles, California, USA. His parents are Joyce Bulifant and actor Edward Mallory. At the age of 25, he directed his first film, Kounterfeit (1996), starring Oscar winner Hillary Swank.
As the son of two thespians, actor-writer-director John Asher was literally born into show business. His television debut didn't come until 1990, however, with a bit part on the prime time soap opera "Beverly Hills, 90210."
