I’m not sure how to really quantify this, but I remember watching 9/11 unfold as a kid. As I got older I didn’t necessarily think Dubya was a great president in terms of implementing certain policies (Iraq/patriot act, I could go on) but I always have respected him because it felt like even if he was a dumbass he truly did (Cheney influence aside) what he thought was best for our country.
