John IV of Egmont was second Count of Egmont, Lord of Hoogwoud, Aartswoud and Baer, and tenth Free Lord of Purmerend, Purmerland and Ilpendam. He belonged to the House of Egmond.
Jan III van Egmont, ( Hattem, 3 april 1438 – Egmond, 21 augustus 1516 ), bijgenaamd Manke Jan, was heer van Egmont, Baer, Lathum, Hoogwoude en Aarstwoude en heer van Purmerend, Purmerland en Ilpendam. Hij was ook stadhouder van Holland, Zeeland en West-Friesland. Hij was de eerste persoon in die deze functies uitvoerde onder de Habsburgers.
