Welcome to Sir John Soane's Museum. Discover the extraordinary home and museum of Sir John Soane, renowned neoclassical architect and collector. We're open Wednesday to Sunday, 10 to 5 and entry is free. From Sunday 1 May, timed tickets will no longer be needed and you can visit by walking in on the day.
Sir John Soane’s Museum is a national museum, displaying the extraordinary collections amassed by renowned British architect Sir John Soane, including antiquities, furniture, sculptures, architectural models and drawings, and paintings including work by Hogarth, Turner and Canaletto.

Founded in 1999, Adelphi Paper Hangings is a small, artisanal producer of historically accurate block printed wallpapers for museums and historic institutions, as well as for period designers and those involved in contemporary design projects.
The predominant form of address remains "Sir/Ma'am", though in some sectors – such as service, hospitality, or politics – "Sir/Madam(e)" prevails, while in Northern Maine – Aroostock County and St John's Valley – most female teachers or public officials, regardless of marital status, are addressed "Miss" in English or "Madame" in French, though the two are not interchangeable.
This incredible Grade-I listed priory and house was remodelled by Sir John Soane in the 18th century, for renowned landscape gardener Humphrey Repton to then create the gardens and park. The gardens are open to visitors between Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 2pm
