Revolt of Iberian nobles was a revolt against Saurmag I that took place in Iberia during 3rd century BCE. The nobles of Iberia united to kill Saurmag I. Learning of the plot, Saurmag took refuge in the land of Durdzuks (ancestors of modern-day Vainakhs ), a country of his mother’s origin.
The Pharnavazid ( Georgian: ფარნავაზიანი, romanized: parnavaziani) is the name of the first dynasty of Georgian kings of Kartli ( Iberia) preserved by The Georgian Chronicles. Their rule lasted, with intermissions, from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD.
