Erdmann August von Brandenburg-Bayreuth (* 8. Oktober 1615 in Bayreuth; † 6. Februar 1651 in Hof) war Erbprinz von Brandenburg-Bayreuth. Leben. Erdmann August war ein Sohn des Bayreuther Markgrafen Christian (1581–1655) aus dessen Ehe mit Marie (1579–1649), Tochter des Herzogs Albrecht Friedrich von Preußen.

Life. Georg Albrecht's older brother, Hereditary Margrave Erdmann August, died in 1651, four years before the death of their father. However, despite the fact he was the only surviving son of his father, he couldn't inherit Bayreuth, because the late prince left a son, Christian Ernst (born in 1644) who replaced him in the line of succession.
