Program Overview. The Department of Art - one of five academic departments and programs in the School of the Arts and Architecture - offers two degree programs (B.A. in Art, M.F.A. in Art) as well as options for summer study.
The UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture ( UCLA Arts) is a professional school at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through its four degree-granting departments, it provides a range of course offerings and programs. Additionally, there are eight centers located within the school.

UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture alumni from all four academic departments — Architecture and Urban Design, Art, Design Media Arts, and World Arts and Cultures/Dance — submitted updates about their work and accomplishments since graduating from UCLA.
The Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies (B.A.) is a two-year major that begins in the junior year of residence. The curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies introduces the fundamental ordering systems of architecture: form, space, tectonics, and program, and their relationships to political, social and cultural constructs.
