Kiefer Sutherland es un actor británico-canadiense, hijo del conocido actor Donald Sutherland y de la actriz Shirley Douglas. El nombre de Kiefer, que tiene una hermana gemela llamada Rachel, deriva de Warren Kiefer, seudónimo empleado por el guionista y director Lorenzo Sabatini, amigo de su padre desde que éste protagonizó su película “El Castillo De Los Muertos Vivientes” (1964).
