From The Byrds latter era there is great stuff, Gunga Din, Nashville West, Yesterday's Train and Bristol Steam Convention Blues. On Kindling there are 2 excellent bluegrass cuts, On The Spot and Banjo Dog.

Credits: Photography - Greg Corman. "Kindling", was released in 1973 after the disbandment of The Byrds. Following this, Gene Parsons joined The Flying Burrito Brothers, like other ex-Byrds Chris Hillman, Gram Parsons and Michael Clarke had done before him.

4 de sept. de 2019 · The 1973 Warner Bros. collection, produced by Russ Titelman, is a tour de force for Parsons, who penned most of the material (including such ace tracks as “Monument” and “I Must Be a Tree”), sings, and plays percussion and numerous stringed instruments beautifully.
The Kindling Collection, from 1973, features White bending and twanging shortly before he met his untimely death later that year. But the album also proves to be rich with Byrds-ian vestiges that recall 1969's Ballad of Easy Rider, an underrated album
