Princess Märtha of Sweden (Märtha Sofia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra; 28 March 1901 – 5 April 1954) was Crown Princess of Norway as the spouse of the future King Olav V from 1929 until her death in 1954. The current king, Harald V, is her only son. As Olav only became king in 1957, Märtha never became Queen of Norway.

Princess Märtha, 1901–1954. Crown Princess Märtha of Norway was born in March 1901 in Stockholm as Princess Märtha Sophia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra of Sweden and Norway. She was the daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden and his consort, Ingeborg of Denmark. Märtha was the cousin of King Gustaf VI Adolf.

14 de jul. de 2011 · Then Crown Prince Olav and Princess Märtha of Sweden were wed in Vor Frelsers church (now Oslo Cathedral) on 21 March 1929. Upon her marriage, Princess Märtha became the Crown Princess of Norway. Crown Prince Olav and Princess Märtha were cousins and had known each other since childhood.
