Kyra Taylor Carusa (/ k ɪər ə /; born 14 November 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women's Soccer League club San Diego Wave. Born in the United States, she is a member of the Republic of Ireland national team.

It’s been a whirlwind of a summer for Kyra Carusa. On July 20, the San Diego native walked out of the tunnel in Sydney in front of 75,000 fans against Australia as the Republic of Ireland made its FIFA World Cup debut. Carusa would start all three matches for Ireland, a country she qualified to represent through her grandparents.

San Diego Wave FC announced today that the club has acquired forward Kyra Carusa from London City Lionesses via a free transfer. Carusa is now under contract with the Wave for the remainder of the 2023 season.
