29 de ene. de 2023 · Henry St. John, Viscount Bolingbroke, was the mastermind behind the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713 that ended the War of the Spanish Succession, and a lifelong rival of Britain’s first Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole.
His father died on the 5th of May 1787 and George succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke. George died at Pisa in Italy on the 18th of December 1824. Research notes. While a married man, he had an incestuous liaison with his own half-sister, Mary Day Beauclerk, which produced four sons.
