She was educated at the elite £12,000-a-year Millfield private school in Street, Somerset. Lady Tatiana is an equestrian who trained under Olympian Charlotte Dujardin.
Lady Tatiana Mountbatten wore a full-length white bridal gown designed by Suzanne Neville, which included three meters of embroidery from her own mother's bridal gown. The groom - known as 'Alick', is a great-great grandson of The Rt Hon. Sir Henry Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon (1831-1890) and a great nephew of by marriage of the writer Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966) - author of "Brideshead Revisted".
